Metallium Jewellery, founded by Karen Smith in 2013, is built on over 20 years of experience in the jewellery trade. Drawing inspiration from everyday magic, storytelling symbols, and personal narratives, Karen crafts bespoke jewellery that carries deep meaning. Every piece is handcrafted in her Dundee workshop using time-honoured techniques. In addition to commissions, Karen shares her passion through jewellery-making classes for all skill levels.

Create a unique, meaningful piece with our bespoke commission service. From wedding jewellery and memorial pieces to remodelling, each commission starts with a personal consultation where we discuss your vision, materials, and budget.
Once the design is chosen, Karen handcrafts your piece using time-honoured techniques in her Dundee workshop. Stay updated throughout the process with progress images, and receive your finished jewellery in person or securely shipped.
