Heavy Bezel Stone Setting Masterclass
Heavy bezels are among the most secure and durable methods of setting gemstones, making them an essential skill for any jeweller looking to create robust, professional-quality work.
In this intensive one-day, hands-on workshop, you'll learn the complete process of heavy bezel setting, from preparing the mounting to setting both round and oval faceted stones. Students will make their own bespoke setting tools and gain practical experience using traditional hammers and punches, as well as hammer handpieces.
Throughout the day, we'll cover:

Using hammers, punches, and hammer handpieces effectively

With a maximum of six students, this small-group workshop allows for plenty of individual guidance and support at every stage.
Participants should bring their preferred magnification, such as an Optivisor or similar head-mounted visor.
